Patagonia use FullRange insulation here, which holds warmth while allowing excess heat and moisture to escape through the breathable outer fabric. The recycled polyester shell and lining have stretch ripstop construction, with a water-repellent finish for light showers. A snap-front placket and flat collar give it the look of a shirt, while the insulation makes it a proper layer for colder days. Basin Green keeps things understated, even when the weather does not.
