Patagonia use double-sided Polartec shearling fleece for this vest, with recycled polyester throughout the main fabric and pocket lining. The full-length zip and stand-up collar let you adjust the warmth, while offset shoulder seams reduce rubbing under a rucksack. Three zipped pockets keep the usual bits secure, and flat seams reduce bulk when you layer it under a jacket. Basin Green is a quiet shade, which suits a garment that does its talking through the texture.
