Ralph Lauren put out his first polo shirt in 1972, and this is the same idea done as a heavy cotton jumper. Polo knit it from thick-gauge cotton with a rib-knit collar and a four-button placket, and the shoulders are hand linked. Relaxed fit, so it is wider through the chest and shoulders and a little shorter in the body. Olive shrub heather, with the Pony embroidered on the chest.
