Portuguese Flannel uses brushed Oxford cotton here, so the surface is softer than a standard Oxford while keeping its proper structure. The vertical stripes are yarn dyed, with a button-down collar, chest pocket and curved hem keeping the shirt firmly in traditional territory. A knife pleat under the back yoke gives the back some room without turning it into an overshirt. Bordeaux, white, grey and brown make a surprisingly civilised bit of stripe.
