Red Wing have put a Gore-Tex membrane inside and used a storm welt rather than the standard one, which is the bit that stops water creeping in where the upper meets the sole. Russet Taos leather, Traction Tred underneath, Poron and Texon insole. Made in Red Wing, Minnesota, same as ever.
