In the part of Nara where RoToTo make their socks, people still call knitting a sock 'weaving' it, because the area was known for its woven cloth from the 1600s, long before it made socks. These are a 2x2 rib, knitted from cotton mixed with an uneven yarn and then tie dyed in a single colour, so the colour has some depth to it. A discreet ROTOTO is embroidered on the back. RoToTo warn that no two production runs come out quite alike.
