Double-faced means the cloth has two finished sides, and RRL have used the fact: anchors and waves woven on the outside, a yarn-dyed plaid on the inside, so the cuff turns back on a different shirt. It is a heavyweight jacquard brushed on both faces and washed before it reaches you, which takes the stiffness out. Twill reinforcement at the stress points, two buttoned chest pockets, more room through the body and sleeves than their standard cut. Navy Multi, though the anchors do most of the talking.
