RRL is named after Ralph Lauren's Double RL Ranch outside Ridgway, Colorado, seventeen thousand acres he bought in 1982, and the line has been going since 1993. This is the shawl collar cardigan in a cotton and linen knit, thick pre twisted yarns at a loose gauge so it has body without weight. The collar fastens across with two buttons at the side.
