Snow Peak started their Takibi line in 2016 so people could stand close to a fire without worrying about sparks, takibi being the Japanese word for gathering round one. The shell is flame resistant modacrylic and nylon, treated with titanium oxide so it neutralises odours rather than holding on to them. Underneath is a PrimaLoft liner that buttons in and can be worn on its own, and the pockets come off a military field jacket. Three jackets in one, depending on the weather.
