Kasuri is the Japanese form of ikat, cloth woven from threads dyed beforehand so the pattern comes out blurred. Snow Peak have borrowed the look rather than the method: the ripstop is dyed so the reinforcing grid threads refuse the colour and show through faintly. It is made up as a six panel cap with eyelets and a buckle at the back. Black, which keeps the effect quiet until you are close.
