The GORE-TEX bootie sits inside waterproof Premium Timberland leather, giving the Heritage Shoe a waterproof barrier without turning it into a rubber overshoe. Timberland pairs it with an EVA footbed and midsole, a padded leather collar and a lugged rubber outsole, so the construction stays fairly close to a traditional outdoor shoe. The laces are recycled PET. Brown is less shouty than Wheat, which leaves the tread to do the talking.
