The expanding external pocket is the useful bit here. Filson have made it so wet kit can sit separately from the rest of your gear, rather than soaking the clean clothes you packed with such optimism. The 1000-denier Cordura nylon has a ballistic-style basketweave, built to resist abrasion without the weight of heavier traditional luggage. Carry it by the handles, sling it over a shoulder or stow the straps and wear it as a backpack. Whiskey is a warm brown, which is more interesting than black without making a fuss about it.
