A nep is a small knot of tangled fibres, and in most yarn it counts as a fault. Fjällräven use a yarn with them put in on purpose, so the dark navy is flecked through like an old Donegal. Saddle shoulders so the arms move freely, ribbing at the neck, cuffs and hem, and a small leather logo on the sleeve. Wool and recycled polyamide, three hundred and ten grams in a medium.
