Worsted wool, treated by Polo Ralph Lauren so the hat can go in the washing machine. Worsted means the fibres are combed straight before they are spun, which makes for a smoother, tougher yarn than a woollen one. It has a seamed crown and a fold-over rib-knit cuff, and the Pony is embroidered on the cuff.
