Bi-swing is the pleat across the back that lets you swing your arms without the jacket fighting you, and it came off shooting and golf clothes in the thirties. Ralph Lauren have loaded the Clarkfield with the rest of it too: reinforced shoulders and elbows, gusseted shoulders, metal grommets for air, a suede undercollar and leather trims. The shell is a cotton and nylon mix, so it shrugs off drizzle without going plasticky.
